Getting there

Looked at the weather forecast (for today and tomorrow) and hastened up to the allotment before the heavens were predicted to open. The squash growing on the compost heap is starting to ripen - losing some of its bright green colour and becoming a bit lumpier in shape. I think it's a Queensland Blue, so some way to go yet. Going by the name it must be rather out of its comfort zone, climatically speaking.
