Wasteland?

Just down the road is a patch of 'wasteland', currently for sale as a building plot. It is covered in a carpet of Birdsfoot-trefoil, Orange Hawkweed, Speedwell, Hop Trefoil, Herb Robert. Even on a cloudy day like today, it's buzzing with bees.
It's heartbreaking to think it may be under a slab of concrete one of these days...
