Manly

A ferry ride over to Manly today. A beautiful suburb of Sydney, Manly has a long golden surfers paradise beach. Today's surfers knew what they were doing.

A tour of the contemporary art museum and then lunch at the exclusive Hugo's was a treat. Tuna Ceviche salad and a little cocktail on the side. We were keen to sit facing the sea, but fear we were bumped for a younger model!

The weather changed quickly, and our return ferry was a little rocky.

Home to visit the Sydney Contemporary Art Museum, I wasn't impressed, it wasn't to my taste. I did enjoy the open-air Australian Life photography exhibition at Circular Quay. It was much more engaging.

Later, we visited the 37th floor of the Shangri-la Hotel for another cocktail and brilliant views of the city, although once again, the best views were saved for the less aged! Nevertheless I loved the experience.

Tonight, after our lunch, we decided to have a night in. We've been on the road for a month now, so a bag of crisps and a shin ramem was blooming delicious.
