Power games

Our power went off sometime during the night. Discovered it was just us without electricity. Anyway, we have a temporary fix which involves running a mains cable through the letterbox. The permanent fix is via a subcontractor who has already bumped it to tomorrow. We have grim experiences of utility sub contractors, so we could have a cable through the letterbox for a few more days. A hefty cosmopolitan has just made things a bit better. Lamb kofta to follow.
