'Tother direction

Back to the same place - well one floor below - as yesterday.

This time I pointed my camera in a different direction, and found another familiar Parisian landmark.

Later on, I headed home. The most remarkable thing about travelling home - apart from the face that I was one of the lucky ones whose flight had not been cancelled as a result of the air traffic controllers' strike - was listening to a woman on the flight back to Edinburgh telling her neighbour that CdeG is the best airport in the world. Meh. As someone commented when I put that on Facebook, she was either 1. French, 2. Mad, or 3. French. The full CdeG irrationality experience involving circulating endlessly in those airside buses it specialises in is really truly Orwellian.

Today, though, it was on pretty good behaviour, apart from an unnecessarily long queue for security, even though there was barely anyone around. They still managed to make us wait more than twenty minutes....
