October?

The unseasonably warm weather certainly bought lots of people to the garden centre today and we had a steady stream of customers, many mentioning that they were starting Christmas shopping. Hubby spent most of the day sat outside in shorts and his forehead is a little red from the sun.
I can’t ever remember sitting out in a beer garden in October but it just had to be done. We sat out for an hour in the late afternoon sun and enjoyed watching the many motorbikes returning from the annual ‘ride to the wall’ at the National Arboretum, a bikers tribute to those who lost their life’s at war.
