Distribution System

Late summer tailing off now, a very pleasant 72°. Looking back towards the willow tree, I saw a mass of seeds floating about, backlit by the evening sunlight. Nature doing its thing, preparing for another year. Of course the dark strands of willow leaves help to show off the pinpoints of light. The camera picked up quite a lot, but in reality it seemed more impressive. Needed a high shutter speed for this one.

Extra: Surveying. Unusually, two herons in a tree. Just hanging out surveying their patch.
