Talent

I went to see my friend Tomas Gall, a seriously talented jazz drummer, give his final Masters recital in the Cork School of Music this evening. He played in an ensemble with David O'Connor (guitar), Eoin Walsh (bass), and Karl Rooney (saxophone).

I can't write with much authority about jazz, but it was seriously cool. They are all incredible musicians and the six pieces really showcased Tomas' skill. He's some man with a pair of brushes!

I love having such talented friends.

Unfortunately, in a fluster, I accidentally formatted my memory card and lost all the photos I had taken of him playing. Gutted.
