This is Interesting

When I posted the photograph of my brother and me last week it got me thinking of Ticonderoga, NY on Lake George.  It is where we lived and where I was born.  I knew the street address since it was on my father's discharge paper from the Army in 1945 which I have.  I also have a photo of the house, that's my mother standing in front, so I went looking.  I discovered the house was recently sold and was on a real estate listing!  Greatly renovated of course after all there is 75 years between those photos, but there it was!  It made me smile.  Gift#279: finding a link to the past.
