Disappointment

We’ve know each other for about 40 years.
MB has made a life choice I cannot agree with.
She dismissed my concerns with a shrug.

When those concerns are about regimes that jail and criminalise people like me a shrug just does not cut it.

I can’t see the three of us together like this again.
