Outside only

We'd booked to visit Rosslyn Chapel, built in the 15th century and famed for its extraordinary carvings - and made even more famous by 'The Da Vinci Code' book and film. The increased footfall from the latter has helped with restoration work of this hymn to embellishment. The interior is small so that visitors are allowed in in limited numbers and no photography permitted as it would interfere with others' enjoyment as there is simply so much to photo, so the blip is of a gargoyle outside.

Its expression kind of summed up the bleurgh feeling of Covid! I'm now  negative but Chris had to forgo his visit as he's isolating as much as is possible as we travel north.

Stopping just south of Pitlochry tonight.
