Today was the day Roy decided to cut them down, and he took no chances - he wore long sleeves and gloves, and used grippers as much as possible!

It felt like summer when we went round for a game of petanque this morning - a good turnout again, and some close scores.

Ditto this afternoon in the garden - washing dried, the roof box on the car, tyres pumped up and the bikes checked over. We're off to parts south on Tuesday, and the Isle of Wight on Friday. 

Also managed to hang the pictures, and get the last books sorted out in the newly decorated room ;)

The two butterflies in extras were enjoying the Michaelmas daisies too!
