Tried to get the drain cover up for a look to see if there are any blockages. It's a bit stiff so had to come up with a plan to try and force it up. After the pressure from my Jack-o-ironrod-inator began to lift the surrounding tarmac and half of West Lothian I backed off. The cover lives to fight another day. Note the presence of a boat anchor and chain. Needless to say I decided not to incorporate that into the plan.
