Atop Ragleth

Ragleth is a very steep climb from Church Stretton and as we reached the summit of course the rain that wasn't forecasted appeared. On the plus side it was only a shower and it did give us this brief but marvellous rainbow. Stronger than predicted winds as well which got us thinking whether the second half of our loop over the Long Mynd was going to be at all pleasant. This soon became relatively irrelevant as whilst walking though Little Stretton a bee bounced of my forehead and somehow got stuck inside my sunglasses which inevitably lead to being stung. Luckily it was about 2cm from my eye but it did swell up pretty well. and by the drive home I did wonder if it would close totally. It didn't and the swelling went down about 24 hours later and all that was left was a purple bruise.
