Bustle

Slept better but up early for the commuter train over to Glasgow (very frustrating trying to get dressed whilst battling with the train ticket website …unsuccessfully!) and into the first of several meetings. Covered a lot, then had an hour to catch up on my shockingly out of control inbox before a regular chat with VG who was at home with a bit of a bug.
From there went to (a very nice) lunch with JC. Haven’t seen here for a long time and we caught up on the results of various projects we’d worked on together and I reflected on my first year of retirement with her and talked about her current work. Was unseasonably warm as I walked around town and definitely had the wrong clothes on (unlike the guy in shorts here!)!
Back down for a couple more meetings then home and got stuck into the reviewing job that’s been hanging over me. Made fair amount of progress in between doing some laundry, chat with A and glances at the news where the horrors in Israel and Palestine are playing out and ramping up alarmingly. It will be exercising P….
