I had a lesson in throwing at pottery this afternoon as I had missed the two sessions in my course. I succeeded in throwing a pot which didn't fly off the wheel, although I feel far from confident about any further efforts. My brain often doesn't absorb things first time round these days, but it gets very worn out nevertheless.
