Close encounters

Wellington zoo is amazing! The habitats for the animals are really well done and the landscaping and layout of the place is great. I was lucky it was quite a cool day so there weren't a huge number of people there and the animals were very relaxed. This lion was just on the other side of some perspex from me & was kind of looking at me like I was his afternoon snack. Very cool to sit so close to him but a little disconcerting as well. K
