Moving cows

I had just finished catching up with housework when husband called wanting a hand getting these cows together and moved. Once we got them so far up here he got called away to some escaped heifers that had been located. The cows I had proceeded to get a bit sticky a few times wanting to come back. These are mainly new cows on the ranch so they don't know the way not that it was hard they were following a track! Dris, Pip and I got them all the way up although we did end up leaving our quad bike behind so we had a 2 mile walk back to it after our success! Then husband called to say the 3 escapees were back on the ranch and he wanted me to ho ahead and set gates for bringing them all the way into the pens at the ranch. All in all good success although I'm pretty tired now!
