Liquid Amber leaf……

……..resting against a stubborn weed!
Today for the first time the leaves have begun to drift down from the trees.
It is also the last of the warm days.
I had a line of washing out early on, and then spent sometime deadheading roses and tidying up some of the middle flower bed.
I actually had my breakfast in the summerhouse as Stephen was later getting up this morning.
He’s got to the tail end of his cold, but still has a bit of a cough, so has been sleeping in the back bedroom this week. So at least I didn’t disturb him first thing.
Time for tea,
