Petra

This is the entrance to the Treasury in the ancient city of Petra, Jordan. Cue up the third movie in the Indiana Jones series, The Last Crusade.
Treasury is a misnomer because this is an entrance to the tomb of an important Nabatean king. But when the caravans were in a hurry they’d pay money to take this shortcut through the mountains. So everyone imagined they kept all those tributes locked here. Instead it was a sacred place.
