A lot of water

We stayed with some friends in upper Weardale, County Durham for the weekend. Their house is right by the river and it was flowing fast - so much so that we had to close the windows because it was so noisy. The extra is of the flow under a footbridge about a mile away. It is also a ford: While we were there a motorcyclist came down to it - and soon decided to turn back!
