have had lots of visitors today. 
many old chums who used to visit here, having a family reunion.  it was so great to see them, and how little they'd changed.
one was my first boyfriend - still a lovely fellow.
they very kindly said i'd not changed a bit either, but i don't believe them!

as i sent them off to the beach i sounded just like my mum - commenting on the unsuitable footwear and telling them to be careful.

set during the pandemic - she writes so sparingly and truthfully.  i didn't want to put it down, but i had to, due to expected visitors.  i am looking forward to my sleeplessness so i can continue.
