Hawthorn Blossom

I planted this Hawthorn tree the first year we came up here which was thirteen years ago and this is the first time it has had any flowers on it. there are only a few so hopefully next yer there will be more.
Not a very nice day with low mist and a little rain and the midges are out so no gardening.
Blood checked this morning and dentist in Inverness tomorrow.
I didn't like how my homespun yarn was knitting up so I e undid the silk that I plied it with and have now plied it with a nice burgandy lace weight yarn I bought but couldn't find at the time. I am going to start knitting it tonight.
