The underside of life

A good day preparing for visitors who hope to follow Mull Car Rally this weekend. They didn’t have a good start when Calmac emailed last night to say due to disruption their ferry ticket was cancelled. Slight panic and fury as we tried to think of what was the best thing to do. The decision was for them to re book as a ferry passenger and leave the car in Oban, not ideal and I now wait to hear more. They are due any minute, John is collecting them from Craignure.

Mull Car Rally is not for everyone, many residents head off for the weekend, we attended our first event as a spectator in 1977, John has missed one or two since then although he feels this year, along with the technology surrounding the rally, he is better staying at home. I definitely will.

They have arrived.
