Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

November

One of the November Moths, which are reputedly impossible to tell apart without cutting up, and I won’t be doing that.

A sunny day brought out a few butterflies: Red Admiral, Comma and Speckled Wood. Three Buzzard were circling over the woods.

Later, I went down to the Caroline Club in Saltaire for some more live music. I wouldn’t usually go to two gigs in a week, but this one was rearranged. Lauren Housley and the Northern Cowboys play country tinged soul - mainly her own songs.  They’ve added a couple of horns for the current tour which gives them a full band sound. She is well respected on the UK Americana circuit and is definitely worth catching.
