Man that’s bright!

Today is Friday the 13th and for some the brings pure dread but it’s really just another day on the calendar for us.

The work began to have the tin roof on our porch replaced. With the tin gone the light coming in through the kitchen window and the glass sliding doors is unbelievable. Man it’s bright.

We were commenting that during the heat of the summer, it would be unbearable.

We believe the original trusses went up in the 70’s and some of them are light and have begun to sag so heavier trusses have been added.

Also with the tin off, we can now “see” the soffit and a section of that is going to need to be replaced before the new metal roof goes up. That means it’ll be towards the end of next week before the job is finished.
