287/365 Peek-a-Boo

This squirrel, like all squirrels do, ran round to the back of the tree when I approached. However, he had been on the ground burying acorns maybe or eating something, I couldn't see.

It must have been something that he wanted to go back to and so he kept poking his head around the trunk, checking if I was still there. He did it several times before I decided to move on and as I looked back he was down on the ground again in no time.

We have friends from Suffolk popping in to see us this afternoon as they are up this way to attend a wedding tomorrow, close to Moreton-in-Marsh I think. We haven't seen each other for nearly two years, unbelievable!
