Birthday cocktail. One of my faves but incredibly difficult to find a good version.

Feeling incredibly old now I’ve passed a significant age but grateful I’ve had a calm, peaceful, sunny and relaxed birthday with no rushing and no plans.

Went to a grill place for my evening meal and had slow roasted brisket with mustard mayo and onions. Had a delightful house dry white wine which tasted vaguely of lychee and smelled faintly of mastic (the anti bacterial tree sap not the industrial glue!)

The bar ran out of my favourite pilsner (Mamos) which I intend to buy for Christmas once I’m back in the UK.

One last day in the late summer sun tomorrow.
