A blur of black

Little girl checking out the curtains I am shortening for Johns niece, these are long, lined and heavy, the second pair are single, unlined and way too long. It’s good they are all finished and ready for her to take home to Cumbria on Tuesday. Anyway little girl was interested in helping, Jack was there although couldn’t see anything to play with and jumped onto the dresser.

A good day weather wise for rally participants and spectators although the visitors here are not venturing out this evening, S in L has knee issues, they have walked miles over the last two days to find a good spot to watch the cars. I used to go out, it was always cold, wet and windy, fine when you are young.

Are we now into a few generations of youngsters who cannot sew? If so what a great shame, I know it’s not for everyone, I am now left wondering who will turn up trousers for those of us who are vertically challenged and so on. Turnups I suppose.
