Rockface

A very late start after a night of tickly throat and lack of sleep. But we had a hot date with the West and good food, so needs must ;-)

Here's a silly face I saw amongst the extraordinary rocks at Marwick. Berry and I enjoyed a walk amongst the stone flags, some showing ancient cracked mud beds, some with fossilised plant material (extra), some just smooth and tactile. Berry was more interested in rock pools and potential splashing - each to their own!

Chris came over very tired so snoozed in the car; the Covid knock-ons have hit us so differently that it's an interesting exercise in observing individual susceptibilities (if you're interested in that sort of thing!).  I should have played golf this morning but didn't fancy it on 4 hrs sleep. 

Our meal out was excellent and a chance to make proper eye contact and sensible conversation about this and that. 

Time now to digest and head for an early night.
