Salty

Today our tour group travelled by bus to the west coast of Sicily, to visit the island of Motya which has remains of an ancient Phoenician city. Salt production is a major industry of the area, and has been for something like 3,000 years. Wind-powered salt mills look, according to this webpage, like something out of Don Quixote.
