Carbon Offset

As I looked out of the plane window this afternoon I liked this juxtaposition of a jet engine and the windfarm far below us. Could this count as a form of carbon offset, I wonder?

We're now safely with the family in Toronto, having received a totally manic welcome from Granddog Oona! We won't see Grandson Paddy until tomorrow morning as it was past his bedtime when we got there.
