Full of Hot Air

The International Balloon Fiesta takes place for a full week in October every year.  It's one of the reasons I have missed posting for a few days.  So much happens during this week, including the Folk Festival and many other music events. Plus, this year we had that little solar event, also.  Visitors come/came from far and wide.

In the evenings, they have what they call the "Glowdeo"  Every 5 minutes there is a countdown and all of the balloons flare or fire.  The balloons do not take off.
