All aboard

Sunday
An early start. Caught the 7.20am bus to Glasgow, then a taxi to Pacific Quay for the 9.30 sailing of the Waverley paddle steamer.
This was a birthday gift for Dennis (in January) from Gavin and Emma. It was lovely and sunny, but very cold (frost first thing). The trip along the Clyde was really interesting, as was the commentary. There were stops along the way at Greenock and Largs. It took four hours to reach Rothesay and we disembarked there. We had lunch and explored, although as it was Sunday, not much was open. Caught the Waverley back on its return at 5.30pm and reached Glasgow again at 9.10pm. We'd decided to ask Gavin and Emma if we could stay overnight with them as we were pretty tired by the end of the day, so Gavin picked us up.
