The Jurassic Coast...

It looks like the weather is about to turn so we decided to try and fit in as much as we could today... 

This morning we had a walk around Coney's Castle, the nearby Iron Age hill fort and after lunch we made our way to Lyme Regis to have a look at the fossils washing out of the cliffs. It very soon became apparent that as rich we are in years clambering among the boulders and seaweed might have been a bit ambitious.

I did get these photos...

Sadly Ash dieback is the same problem here in Dorset as it is at home. This beautiful tree (extra) has gone over the summer.
