Cactus flower or basking shark?

I arrived home last night as the fog began to thicken and it didn’t lift till around lunchtime today. A day of catching up, in the house, in the garden and with a friend.
A blip did not present itself at all today but I noticed one of my Christmas cacti has produced a flower and a several buds while I have been away. The flower weirdly reminds me of a basking shark!
