Blood Red Wine

Upward pressure applied to
The corkscrew and pop the
Bottle is open. Sensuous
Sounds as wine pours forth.

Slowly the incarnadine liquid
Fills the glass, promising all
Delights unbounded that comes
From the delicious Merlot grape.

Oh such pleasure to slowly sip
Such smooth, sensuous syrup
Enjoying each mouthful, and
Admiring the gorgeous body.

Oh No! the bottle's empty,
Only one option left to me.
Pop another cork and worry
About consequences tomorrow!
