Wearing purple...

A delightful Blipmeet...

...with Par1, a local on the Island...

After several changes of plan due to Storm Babet, we met for an historical walk round the village. The bright red water pump in the collage is one of a series that were installed in the late 1880s and paid for by residents of the parish, and philanthropist William Spindler.

We enjoyed a tasty meal at the pub, followed by tea and homemade scones at Pat's beautiful old house.

A quick look round the garden before heading back to Freshwater Bay through increasingly wet and windy conditions! I don't think we'll be venturing out again this evening ;)
