Eensy weensy spider

As it's been pouring with rain today, particularly when I was driving back on the M25 after bowling at Tonbridge Wells, I think I can legitimately use this photo of a Halloween themed postbox topper that I took yesterday. I'm not a fan of the Americanisation of Halloween that has happened in the UK. It was never a big thing when I was growing up in Kent. The only memory I have of marking the occasion was  apple bobbing. Bonfire night, on November 5th, was a much bigger deal and this was celebrated (if that's the right word) at home. I don't remember there being so many organised public displays in those days. Still, I liked the look of this spider and certainly considered it worthy of a blip.
