Spotted

This caused a little bit of excitement on our afternoon walk. Although he couldn’t see this red deer hind from his low vantage point, Bertie certainly knew it was there, having scented it some time before I spotted it and he was straining on the lead to try and get to it. We came across another one in the woods nearby but I couldn’t get a clear view between the trees before it ran off.
