Blue Tit ( Cyanistes caeruleus )

In case you are wondering if that really is a Blue Tit it is fluffed up and roosting.  We had our first frost on the 16th on the night of the 17-18th a Blue Tit roosted in the nest box.    Today the bird spent 5 minutes in the box mid morning before returning to roost at 16:55 while the camera was still working on daylight not Infra red.  The change to IR happened at 17:20

The other thing I need to record for my own purposes is that today the tree surgeon arrived and removed a Silver Birch that was making a nuisance of itself.  Very quickly and efficiently done.  The man up the tree with the saw must have been part monkey.
