Svínafellsjökull

The day started with rain, rain and more rain. Huge credits to the entire group for soldiering on in wind and rain at Diamond Beach and Fjallsárlón. Everyone got soaked and we decided to skip the Svínafellsjökull glacier ("Swine mountain glacier"). During lunch near the glacier, the sky opened up and that decision was quickly reversed! I've added a detail image of the ice as an extra.

Once we had returned to our vans, normal service of rain and wind was resumed until we reached the hotel in Vík.
