County Hall

County Hall has changed a lot since the days of the Greater London Council and Ken Livingstone. I'm staying in the Premier Inn at the back . I'll give Shrek's Adventures a miss. Bridge view in extras. I don't remember it being  this pretty when Red Ken was in charge.

Ps I chose this hotel because of its history but apart from its impressive exterior there is little inside to betray its origins from 1911 and  the headquarters of London's local government.  So I was very excited to take the stairs to breakfast the next morning and find myself in a little bit of history, an original staircase. More history in extras
