Out for a brisk walk .

This was the halfway point on my walk this morning, Storm Babette hasn’t had a big impact on us . I felt so sorry for those folk that are having a miserable time . We have just spoken to our son in Chesterfield which has been badly affected, he has spent the afternoon doing battle against the river water that headed their way when it burst it’s banks. Only a small amount made it into the house but his neighbour fared less well. We are meant to be going over tomorrow in Ruby the Motorhome but don’t want to get stuck in the Peak District which has quite a few flood points so will delay our visit until Sunday .
