We left a deluged Upton for Exeter just after 1pm. We simply had to pick Flora up from school first in Nottingham, a 35 minute journey that took well over an hour due to a tad more water than we are used to!!!

At one point in Oxton we drove by a house literally surrounded by water up to its ground floor windows.

Quite incredible.

Thankfully south of the Midlands it was OK.
