Ma’s birthday!

She had a very early train, and I had planned to get there at the same time. In the end I slept so terribly I decided to get the slightly later one - and very glad I did, as there were hour long delays that were just catching up when I got to the station.

I ended up getting there before her, so I got the cuppas and waited in Costa. Her outfit was very on brand.

We spent the day shopping, with a break for pasta, and a later break for hot chocolates and homemade madeleines.
