While on my runs

Trimming

On my walk this afternoon I startled a mallard duck with five ducklings. It sounded an alarm and the spread of the tail seems to summon ducklings to follow closely.

Later I saw a young man trimming back one (or perhaps more than one) tree, with a longhandled lopper.

Later this evening S and I drove daughter J to the airport. She is on her way to London, to then head to Partsmouth where she is presenting a paper discussing care ethics for architects.
