More DIY

FRIDAY

A very wet day in North Wales so I stayed indoors and pressed on with the DIY.

A couple of hours painting in the bathroom this morning.

In the afternoon I turned my hand to a bit of "joinery" and replaced two pairs of door handles and the associated bolts and catches. It wasn't a straight swap as the sprung bolts and the catch plates were larger than the existing. The work involved quite a bit of careful chiselling. 

Fifty years on and my 'O' level woodwork skills finally came in useful.

Only another eight doors still to do!
