A Grand Day Out

Our U3A group meets once a month to share readings of prose, poetry and plays (yes, we are the 3Ps group!) For our October get-together, we decided to take to the waterways along the Grand Union Canal, courtesy of a firm who offer trips on a boat which is staffed entirely by volunteers. It was a lovely day out, with a shared lunch along the way - and an opportunity for the more adventurous to help with opening the lock gates and even steering the boat!
