Tear drops

“The greatness of humanity is not in being human, but in being humane.”  Mahatma Gandhi

I visit Gaza for the first time in 2010 and during these years I have seen how the civilians pay the horrendous price for wars, seige and occupation.
I'm proud that I work in a trade union with international solidarity and support human rights organisations in Gaza and the West Bank.

The situation has been horrible for years.

UN reported that Gaza was unliveable in 2020.

The facts on the ground in Gaza are documented by the UN office in Gaza (OCHA) weekly and monthly.
The UN Security Council gets quarterly detailed rapport and briefing in the council  from the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process since 1993.
UN Human Rights Council gets rapports and international law analysis from special rapporteur on occupied Palestinian territories since 1993.

The violations of international law and human rights in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem are the best and well documented violations in history.

All my friends and partners are experiencing the same gruesome war crimes like the rest of the civilians that on a daily basis work to assist.

It will take generations after generations for Palestinians to heal.

And we are so many all around the world that are now suffering from secondary traumatic stress while waiting for humanity and sanity to get through to those in power.
